In a challenging world it is easy to fall into the trap of negative Ego thinking. A reminder to transform fear and anger, into more faith and love.
This article is a reminder to myself and to all of us who wants to change the world into better place. With purpose I sometimes say the same things in another context. "Repetion is the mother of learning/remembering"
In times of global tension and widespread suffering, many people feel a calling to contribute positively to make a difference in world. Lightworkers, individuals dedicated to spreading love and compassion, play a crucial role in uplifting humanity fostering a brighter, more harmonious future. However, the path of a lightworker requires discernment—It requires navigating emotions like anger, fear, and frustration without letting them dictate actions. While these emotions are natural, fighting darkness with its own energy—judgment, hatred, or division—can often strengthen what we seek to dismantle.
When we react to injustice or suffering with judgment, it’s easy to fall into the trap of labeling others as “the problem.” This mindset, though rooted in a desire to fix what’s wrong, often perpetuates separation and conflict. It shifts focus to opposition rather than transformation. True lightwork requires a different approach—one that acknowledges the pain and injustice in the world but chooses to respond with love, wisdom, and constructive action.
The Trap of Fighting Darkness with Darkness
When we oppose harmful forces using hatred or fear, we inadvertently empower the very energy we seek to diminish. For example, when activism or advocacy is driven by outrage, it risks becoming reactive rather than transformative. Judging or vilifying others often reinforces division and fuels the cycle of negativity. Instead of dismantling systems of harm, this approach often deepens the chasm between people, prolonging conflict.
This isn’t to dismiss the validity of anger or injustice. On the contrary, these emotions signal where change is needed. But it’s important to channel them constructively, transforming the fire of indignation into acts of love and creation rather than destruction.
Here are 5 steps to embody lightworking during difficult times:
1. Recognize Your Inner Power
Start by acknowledging that our thoughts, feelings, vibrations, and actions are incredibly powerful forces that shape not only our personal experiences but also contributes to the collective energy of the world. Every thought carries energy, creating ripples that influence both ourselves and others. Positive feelings like love, gratitude, and joy resonate at higher frequencies, inspiring those we interact with and elevating collective energy.
When we align our vibrations with intentional actions, we can create profound change. Acts of kindness, thoughtful communication, and conscious decision-making all amplify the impact of our inner state. By cultivating self-awareness and focusing on what we wish to contribute, we become catalysts for transformation, proving that even small shifts in perspective or behavior can spark significant, far-reaching effects. Love, compassion, or forgiveness ripple outward, creating more impact than we can realize.
2. The Power of Inner Transformation
To be a lightworker is to begin with the self and your inner personal work. Injustice and hardship can ignite feelings of rage, sadness, and despair, and these emotions are valid. However, they are not the place to dwell. Through practices like mindfulness, meditation, or journaling and self-reflection, we can transform these feelings into clarity and purpose. The fire of anger can be powerful—not as a force of destruction but as a fuel for meaningful, compassionate action. By cultivating inner peace, you model a more harmonious way of being.
This transformation involves recognizing that every thought and emotion contributes to the energy we put into the world. When we focus on love, healing, and unity, we help to shift the collective vibration in that direction. Lightworking isn’t about suppressing difficult emotions but using them as catalysts to create something better.
3. Choose Compassion Over Judgment
One of the most profound ways to embody lightworking is to practice compassion. This doesn’t mean excusing harmful actions or avoiding accountability, but it does mean striving to understand the deeper roots of suffering—both in ourselves and others. Judgment often comes from a place of fear, while compassion stems from love. By choosing the latter, we open pathways for connection and transformation, even with those we might initially see as adversaries.
For example, instead of condemning others for their perceived shortcomings, consider how they may be acting from pain or fear. Compassion doesn’t require agreement, but it does create space for healing, dialogue, and growth. Judgment fuels division, while empathy opens the door to dialogue and transformation. This doesn’t mean condoning harm but addressing it with wisdom and compassion.
4. Act with Love and Integrity
Channel the energy of injustice into acts of love. Volunteer, create art, organize for positive change, or simply offer kindness to someone in need. These actions not only address suffering but also inspire others to join in spreading light.
Mother Teresa once said, “I will never attend an anti-war rally; if you have a peace rally, invite me.” This wisdom reflects a powerful truth: where focus goes, energy flows. Dwelling on fear or anger amplifies those emotions, while focusing on solutions and love creates spaces for healing and unity.
5. Focus on What You Want to Create
Lightworkers focus not on what they oppose but on what they wish to create. This shift in perspective is profound. Anger at injustice can become a drive to build solutions; despair over suffering can inspire acts of kindness and solidarity. Whether it’s organizing for change, volunteering, creating art, or simply offering kindness to those around us, every act of love contributes to a greater whole.
Visualize the world you want to live in rather than focusing solely on what’s wrong. Whether it’s a more compassionate society, a healed planet, or stronger communities, putting energy into solutions amplifies their power. Imagine your mind as a radio sending signals to the collective, so we can choose more wisely what we spread to the world.

The Role of Unity
The world needs lightworkers now more than ever. The call to lightwork is clear so choosing love over fear, compassion over judgment, and creation over destruction, you can help transform the energy of darkness into light. we can remind ourselves that even small, consistent acts of kindness contribute to a brighter, more unified world.
One of the most profound ways to be a lightworker is to bridge divides. Avoid framing the world as “us versus them,” as this perpetuates separation. Instead, recognize our shared humanity. We are all capable of both harm and healing, and we all benefit from collective growth.
By transforming our inner struggles, choosing compassion over judgment, and focusing on creation rather than opposition, we can illuminate even the darkest corners of the world. Let your actions radiate love, and your energy inspire others to do the same. Together, we can create a future grounded in hope, kindness, and unity.
Let your inner fire guide you—not as a weapon of anger but as a beacon of hope. Your energy matters, your choices matter, and your light can inspire others to shine. In the words of Rumi:
“Be like a tree and let the dead leaves drop. Be grounded and keep growing towards the light.”
Together, we can create the world we wish to see—not by fighting against the darkness, but by illuminating it with love.
With love,
Anna
